He explained Commission Thao and himself recommended the <br />group support the program. <br />Chair Grefenberg moved and Vice Chair Brisbois seconded a motion to recommend the <br />Roseville HRC promote the August 20 Forum on Immigration Reform. Motion passed [Formatted: Font: Bold <br />unanimously. <br />Other Committee Reports <br />uest for HRC Assistance on August 19 Program Sponsored by Falcon Heights <br />Human Rights Commission : <br />Chair Grefenberg stated Falcon Heights was seeking assistance from the Roseville HRC in <br />promoting a program scheduled for August 19. He explained last year the Commission <br />supported a similar program. <br />Commissioner Groff indicated last year the Falcon Heights talked to him about participating in a <br />forum. He recommended the HRC participate. <br />Commissioner Singleton questioned what level of participation Falcon Heights was seeking at <br />this time. <br />Commissioner Groff explained Falcon Heights was hoping to have the Roseville HRC promote <br />the program and share their flyer with the immigrant community. <br />Chair Grefenberg stated it would benefit the Roseville HRC to have an immigrant mailing list. <br />Chair Grefenberg moved and Vice Chair Brisbois seconded a motion to recommend the <br />Roseville HRC assist with the August 19 Program sponsored by Falcon Heights Human Rights <br />Commission. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Final Report on Community Dialogue Series Creating a Safe and Connected Commu <br />Chair Grefenbergpommented noted that Roseville resident Megan Dushin was present this <br />evening to provide a final report on the recent Community Dialogue Series, ;A'L °� ' %L °� °� <br />Creating a Safe, and Connected Community. He f °3Ti ° °d alb ported that tL <br />-HAtipg $2,700 was spent on the dialogues, $200 of that being from the Commission and the <br />remainder from the Bush Foundation Grant. <br />Megan Dushin provided an historic overview on the community dialogues. She said a grant was <br />received from the Bush Foundation to assist with the dialogue and facilitator (Ariella Tilsen) <br />expenses.
