She stated the next action step would be to take the comments and feedback received <br />and turn it into action items for the City. <br />Chair Grefenberg indicated the neighborhood watch program was starting a neighborhood <br />welcome program because of the comments made at the dialogues. <br />Ms. Dushin stated the second dialogue had a completely different format and discussions <br />centered the suggestions made at the first community dialogue. Although there <br />w�less participants, great information was gathered around the four main <br />topics, which were strengthening neighborhoods and the block captain program, communication <br />with action, intergenerational dialogues and creating a culture -fest. <br />Chair Grefenberg indicated the HRC was very interested in creating a culture fest in Roseville in <br />the next year. He thanked Planning Committee Dushin for her consistent and committed <br />involvement in the recent Ddialogues. <br />Commissioner Singleton a� thanked Megan Dushin for her i <br />H was an exame o omm fivel T°ment leadership,,-in =in the <br />Ddialogues. e added that this plf the Cission's committee structure <br />allowing resident and community involvement. <br />Chair Grefenberg moved and Commissioner Singleton seconded a motion to acknowledge with <br />appreciation the report from the Creating a Safe & Connected Community Dialogues from <br />Megan Dushin. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Old Business <br />Consideration of 2013 -2014 Draft Calendar: <br />Chair Grefenberg reviewed an initial commission calendar for July 2013 through July 2014. He <br />saw the calendar as a planning tool that would assist the HRC in reaching its goals and <br />objectives throughout the coming year. He requested comment or suggestions from the <br />Commission members on the calendar. <br />Commissioner Groff thanked staff and Chair Grefenberg for creating the calendar.
