Roseville Public Works, Environment and <br />Transportation Commission <br />Agenda Item <br />Date: October 22, 2013 Item No: 4 <br />Item Description: Communication Items <br />Projects update: <br />• Waterman lining project— The project is substantially complete. Turf restoration will be <br />completed the week of October 21. <br />• County Road D Reconstruction — The east segment of this project between Chatsworth <br />and Victoria Street is completed to first layer of asphalt. The segment between Lexington <br />and Chatsworth is under construction. Utility work has been completed. Grading and base <br />is underway. Progress has been hampered by recent rains. The project should be <br />substantially complete by early November. <br />• Villa Park Sediment Removal Project— Dredging of the wetland cells and hauling of the <br />dredged material is completed. Final grading and restoration is underway. <br />• Neel Gas Main Replacement Project- This project is substantially complete. <br />• Utility Extension at 3040 Hamline Avenue - This project is substantially complete. <br />• County Road B -2 Pathway Construction- Following public comment at the City Council <br />meeting on October 14u', the City Council authorized staff to complete final plans and <br />specifications, and advertise for bids. Staff will continue to work through design concerns <br />with residents during the final design process. <br />• Staff is also working on the following projects: <br />o Wheeler Avenue Traffic Management Project <br />o McCarrons Lake Sub watershed Drainage Improvements <br />0 2014 preliminary surveys for pavement projects. <br />Maintenance Activity: <br />• Streets Crews are finishing pavement maintenance for the season and preparing for the <br />leaf collection program. <br />• Utility crews continue performing annual sanitary sewer cleaning and fall hydrant and <br />valve maintenance. <br />Attachments: <br />A.
