Councilmember McGehee opined that left open the option for individuals to bring any other indices into the discussion by reference. Amendment Willmus moved, Laliberte seconded, amending the motion to incorporate inclu- sion of the Employment Cost Index for State and Government Workers. Mayor Roe offered his support of the motion to amend. Councilmember Etten stated that he could support the amendment, as long as those indices were guiding pieces and not the ultimate determination of COLA in- creases, even though he preferred a cleaner policy as originally moved. Roll Call Ayes: Laliberte; McGehee; Willmus; Etten; and Roe. Nays: None. Amendment to the Amended Motion Roe moved, Willmus seconded, an amendment to the amended motion to delete the sentence on line 10 of the RCA that the percentage be rounded to the nearest tenth of a percent.
