Human Rights Commission Minutes <br />September 18, 2013 <br />Page 9 of 9 <br />Financial Report on Current Expenditures and Balances: Ms. Curti noted the Commission <br />had $1,421 available for the remainder of 2013. She reported there was acarry -over of $748 <br />from 2012 and a grant was received from Meadlowlark, which totaled $2,500. <br />Chair Grefenberg thanked staff for the year to date financials and requested the contribution of <br />$126.94 be amended to read as a reimbursement from the League of Minnesota Human Rights <br />Commissions. <br />Chair Grefenberg moved and Commissioner Singleton seconded a motion to accept the summary <br />financial report as amended. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Future Agenda Items <br />Chair Grefenberg reviewed the proposed items planned for the October HRC meeting. <br />Commissioner Courneya recommended that the HRC broaden its assessment of immigrant needs <br />beyond that of just the Karen community. <br />Adjournment <br />Commissioner Singleton moved and Commissioner Becker seconded a motion to adjourn. <br />Motion passed unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 8:40 p.m. <br />
