Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday,November 18, 2013 <br /> Page 30 <br /> through the end of 2013; at which time if not transferred or renewed, it would be <br /> available. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus; Laliberte; and Roe. <br /> Nays: McGehee and Etten. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Finance Director Miller sought specific direction for staff, whether the City <br /> Council wanted more information or simply more opportunity for their individual <br /> review and corporate discussion. <br /> Councilmember Willmus noted that the intent was for some individual members <br /> of the City Council to review documents in more detail, and allow the City At- <br /> torney to take a second look at the documentation provided to him. <br /> b. 2014 Liquor License Renewals <br /> Based on the previous action, Mayor Roe noted that there were now nine (9) off- <br /> sale liquor licenses, excluding Network Liquors and/or Total Wine & More, in the <br /> list of renewals. <br /> Finance Director Chris Miller noted that the list was now at a total of seventy-four <br /> (74) various types of liquor licenses for consideration of renewal for 2014; with <br /> most if not all criminal background checks completed. As previously requested <br /> by the City Council, Mr. Miller highlighted the one (1) compliance failure for this <br /> calendar year; and advised that staff recommended approval of the renewals as <br /> listed in Attachment A to the RCA dated November 18, 2013, with the exception <br /> as noted above. <br /> Mayor Roe opened and closed the Public Hearing at approximately 9:55 p.m. for <br /> the purpose of considering renewal of liquor license renewals for the following <br /> calendar year; with no one appearing for or against. <br /> McGehee moved, Willmus seconded, APPROVAL of the renewal of liquor li- <br /> censes for 2014 as detailed in the Request for Council Action (RCA) dated No- <br /> vember 18, 2013; and listed on Attachment A to that report; excluding the off-sale <br /> license currently held by Network Liquors and requested transfer to Total Wine & <br /> More. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: McGehee; Willmus; Laliberte; Etten; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 12.
