This is applicable only to wireless data <br />379 <br />security and persistent connectivity services and will be known as <br />380 <br />"opting out" or "opt out ". <br />381 <br />5.4.2.2 <br />A Member may choose to opt out of services for a subset of its <br />382 <br />System Users, for example, for only Law Enforcement personnel. <br />383 <br />5.4.2.3 <br />Should a Member opt out, the ECC would remain the "first call for <br />384 <br />help" for that Member's System Users per section 5.4.3.6. <br />385 <br />5.4.2.4 <br />A Member that opts out is responsible for all elements of the <br />386 <br />provision and maintenance of the wireless data security and <br />387 <br />persistent connectivity service exce t 5.4.3.6. <br />388 <br />5.4.3 County Responsibilities. The County is responsible for the following Wireless <br />389 <br />Data Security and Persistent Connectivity Service hardware, software, and <br />390 <br />related services <br />for Members who do not opt out of having the County <br />391 <br />provide wireless data security and persistent connectivity service: <br />392 <br />5.4.3.1 <br />Acquisition of the service(s) and management of any necessary <br />393 <br />contracts. <br />394 <br />5.4.3.2 <br />Working with the Members and State of Minnesota to transition <br />395 <br />from existing licenses and agreements. <br />396 <br />5.4.3.3 <br />Distribution of client software (as needed) to subscribing <br />397 <br />Members, and maintaining licenses and updates for that <br />398 <br />software. <br />399 <br />5.4.3.4 <br />Applications that are licensed to the County as part of the <br />400 <br />Wireless System. <br />401 <br />5.4.3.5 <br />Maintenance of System User accounts to ensure that System <br />402 <br />Users are able to access needed services and information. <br />403 <br />5.4.3.6 <br />"First call" troubleshooting of connectivity issues. <br />404 <br />5.4.3.7 <br />Written installation standards /guidelines. <br />405 <br />5.4.3.8 <br />Initial installation of client software on end user computing <br />406 <br />devices at the County's service location. <br />407 <br />5.4.4 Member <br />Responsibilities. Each Member is responsible for the following <br />408 <br />Wireless <br />Data Security and Persistent Connectivity Service hardware, <br />409 <br />software, <br />and related services: <br />410 <br />5.4.4.1 <br />Allowing the County to push software updates to end user <br />411 <br />computing devices.
