798 <br />6.4.10.1 Planned Outages <br />799 <br />6.4.10.1.1 Initial email contact will be made with each Member's <br />800 <br />Operational Contact as soon as possible, giving the <br />801 <br />following information: <br />802 <br />1. Portion of the System that will be down <br />803 <br />2. Date and time of the outage <br />804 <br />3. Reason for the outage <br />805 <br />4. Estimated duration of the outage <br />806 <br />5. Effect outage will have on Members' business <br />807 <br />operations <br />808 <br />6. End User expectations <br />809 <br />6.4.10.1.2 Two days prior to the planned outage a reminder email <br />810 <br />notification containing the same information will be <br />811 <br />sent to the Member's Operational Contact with details <br />812 <br />for their use, and to distribute within their agencies. <br />813 <br />6.4.10.1.3 Immediately prior to the outage, ECC will make an <br />814 <br />announcement over the radio identifying the sub - <br />815 <br />system that will be taken down and instructing System <br />816 <br />Users to log off. <br />817 <br />6.4.10.1.4 When the planned outage /upgrade is complete an <br />818 <br />announcement will be made over the radio informing <br />819 <br />System Users the portion of the System that was down <br />820 <br />is available for use, plus a follow up email will be sent. <br />821 <br />6.4.10.2 Unplanned Outage <br />822 <br />6.4.10.2.1 As soon as reasonably possible a radio announcement <br />823 <br />will be made and email contact will be made with each <br />824 <br />Member's Operational Contact giving the following <br />825 <br />information: <br />826 <br />1. Identifying the portion or portions of the <br />827 <br />system that is /are down <br />828 <br />2. When the outage began <br />829 <br />3. Initial cause of outage, if known <br />830 <br />4. Estimated duration of the outage. <br />831 <br />5. Effect outage will have on Members' business <br />832 <br />operations <br />833 <br />6.4.10.2.2 Periodic notifications will be provided as appropriate <br />834 <br />and /or when new information is available. <br />835 <br />6.4.10.2.3 When the unplanned outage is resolved an <br />836 <br />announcement will be made over the radio and via <br />CAD and Mobile Data Agreement Ramsey County and User Members Page 22 of 48 <br />
