POLICY OBJECTIVE <br />� Each year the City budgets wage and benefit adjustments for all employees. The adjustments <br />.� stem from the best information known or anticipated from the metro labar market, labor <br />. settlements and consumer price indexing. <br />� The City's compensation policy objectives include: <br />E Internal Equiry - maintaining a compensation and benefit package that is as consistent as <br />F, possible between the City's three union and two non-union groups. <br />F <br />E�� External Equity- maintaining compensation and benefits packages that are equivalent to <br />c comparable cities for comparable positions. <br />� <br />r BUDGET IMPLICATIONS <br />c The personnel services funds in the 2014 budget will cover the cost of the proposed collective <br />r: bargaining agreement for 2014.
