Adopt a Resolution Authorizing an Application for a MN DEED Grant for <br /> 2785 Fairview Avenue <br /> Etten moved, Willmus seconded, adoption of Resolution No. 11127 (At- <br /> tachment B) entitled, "Resolution of Applicant;" authorizing the submittal of a re- <br /> development grant from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Econom- <br /> ic Development (DEED) Redevelopment Grant application for the property locat- <br /> ed at 2785 Fairview Avenue. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: McGehee; Willmus; Laliberte; Etten; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> Authorize Joint Powers Agreement with the Minnesota Department of Agri- <br /> culture for Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) Research <br /> Etten moved, Willmus seconded, authorizing a Joint Powers Agreement (Attach- <br /> ment A) between the City of Roseville and the Minnesota Department of Agricul- <br /> ture for Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) Research; allowing for reimbursement to the <br /> City for direct costs up to $4,000 to remove and dispose of suspect EAB-infested <br /> trees and/or portions of trees to conduct necessary research. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: McGehee; Willmus; Laliberte; Etten; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> Councilmember McGehee thanked staff for pursuing these cooperative efforts, <br /> such as for EAB research, as well as another application to DEED in such a time- <br /> ly manner; as well as supporting the I-35W bridge reconstruction project. <br /> 8.
