EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 10th day of February, <br /> 2014, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Willmus, Etten, McGehee, Laliberte, Roe <br /> and the following were absent: None. <br /> Member McGehee introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION No. 11132 <br /> RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE <br /> TO A PROPERTY IN THE TWIN LAKES REDEVELOPMENT AREA <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has identified the Twin Lakes area as an important <br /> redevelopment area for the past several decades; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Roseville desires Twin Lakes to be a mixed-use development <br /> that includes commercial, office, and housing uses; and <br /> WHEREAS, a property within the Twin Lakes Redevelopment Area; 2814 Cleveland <br /> Ave., is currently being considered for an office development that will <br /> place the world headquarters for a medical device company on the <br /> property; and <br /> WHEREAS, the prospective business will bring 175 jobs immediately to the property <br /> with the possibility of total employment of 450 employees at the facility; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the estimated average wage of the employees is $75,000; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Roseville desires this company locate within the Twin Lakes <br /> Redevelopment Area; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has financial assistance tools to assist the company in <br /> locating within Roseville; and <br />
