City of Roseville — 2014 Budget <br />Division /Program: Recreation Non -Fee Activities <br />Organizational Responsibility: Parks and Recreation Director <br />Division / Program Description <br />Recreation Non- Fee Activities provides quality recreational leisure time opportunities in the area of <br />musical entertainment, community band programs, special needs programs, summer youth programs, <br />teen activities, and special events in a manner that encourages broad participation through a combination <br />of partial fees, donations, and public funding. The Program's activities are accounted for in the <br />Recreation Fund. <br />2014 Goals and Objectives <br />• Continue to provide volunteer opportunities to the community and support volunteer involvement. <br />• Pursue non - traditional revenue sources, i.e. sponsorships, partnerships, etc. <br />• Respond to implementation of the Park and Recreation Renewal Program. <br />Financial Summary <br />FTE's - - - - - <br />2014 Budget Impact Items <br />• Personal Services increases due to higher temporary staffing costs. <br />• Supplies and materials increased due to higher program participation. <br />2012/2013 Achievements <br />• Hosted 12 Discover Your Parks events in 2013.
