Eligibility Requirements: <br /> To be eligible for the Discount Program, applicants must meet all of the following criteria: <br /> 1) Owner and occupant of a single-family home <br /> 2) Currently enrolled in one or more of the following Ramsey County-administered <br /> financial assistance programs: <br /> a) SNAP (Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program) <br /> b) MFIP (Minnesota Family Investment Program) <br /> c) General Assistance (GA) <br /> 3) At or below 165% of the federal poverty threshold guidelines <br /> 4) Provide annual written proof of participation in County-administered financial <br /> assistance programs. <br /> Amount of Discount <br /> Consistent with current practices, the discount shall apply to the fixed (base) fee amount <br /> of the water and sanitary sewer charges. The discount shall equal approximately 35% of <br /> the standard fee amount. <br /> The effective date of this action is March 10, 2014. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member <br /> Laliberte and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: McGehee, <br /> Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, Roe <br /> and the following voted against the same: None. <br />
