<br />The recreation center would be attached and physically linked to the ice arena and John Rose <br />Oval establishing and integral and well-linked facility. <br /> <br />The Government Center would build off of City Hall and form the southern edge to the City <br />Square. The Government Center would accommodate an expanded police department, relocated <br />license bureau, parks and recreation department, and pote~tial public safety facilities. <br /> <br />The Community Center is located on the north side of the City Square. <br /> <br />Parking to support the new uses in the Main Street Concept is proposed to be located in an <br />underground facility under the City Square of in an above ground multi-level parking structure. <br /> <br />Based on a review and discussion of these three alternatives by the City Center Task Force it was <br />decided that the City Square Concept provided the most appropriate infrastructure and <br />arrangement of uses based on the vision and goals set for the project. <br /> <br />Roseville City Center Master Plan and Development Strategy <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br />Draft 11.10.99 <br />
