(Her first notice went <br />to Cambridge, MN). <br /> <br />George Warner stated the definition of the district is important. This is a <br />railroaded project. <br /> <br />Delores Ford, Dellwood, felt there should be no buildings on the corner. The <br />vision has come too late for a city center. Do not develop Howard Johnson. The <br />uses should be spread throughout the city. <br /> <br />Sue Synestegard, Dellwood Avenue, recommended no development in Howard <br />Johnson Park She recommended no retail because it added traffic to Woodhill. <br />More retail would impact the neighborhood. <br /> <br />Don Anderson, Chair of Roseville Parks and Recreation Commission, stated he <br />shared the concern that Howard Johnson Park is not developable or replaceable. <br />Ifthe ball parks in Central Park were proposed as City Center there would be a <br />major impact. The Arana Community Center should be replaced and moved to <br />the City Center. The City Center may have a lack of parking space for big events. <br />Cooperative efforts with other cities and the school district may help relieve the <br />space needs. <br /> <br />Chair Keith Wietecki read letters into the record from: <br />Bruce and Jean Urman, WoodhiIl Joan Goepert, Woodhill <br />Wallace Herren, Roseville Band Wendell Brown <br /> <br />J an Vanderwall suggested emergency shelter and service center be added for the <br />government center. <br /> <br />Dick Houck said the audience was not yet representative of the Roseville <br />residents consensus. <br /> <br />AI Kehr said he has contacted over 2000 voters.
