Page 2. of Rezoning Memo 10/8/1990

The case number 1463 was for 1260 County Road B, single family
home owner which wanted to retrofit it into a duplex. This case
occurred in 1983 and reiterates the comprehensive plan's
obj ecti ves, namely that R2 rezoning may occur through out the
city if no adverse effects will result. This home has single
family homes abutting it. (October 1983) See yellow marker on #4
for specific language reiterating policy.

The case number 1186 was for 634 W. County Rd C.. This case had
local residents petioning FOR approval for a rezoning from R1 to
R2 on a lot which would not even be adequate for single family
home. This home also has two garages facing outward and is
surrounded by single family homes. Again see yellow marker on
planning considerations in deciding on this rezonning. NOTE--
this is most similar to the Parker street case.

The case number 697 for 595 Sandhurst was a relative straight
forward approval of a R1 to R2 rezoning, however in this case the
property is located next to a multiple family apartment complex
and single family homes. It is more characteristic of a single
family home than an apartment building.
