MEMORANDUM

Date:
To:
From:
Re:

10/8/1990
Craig Waldron
Jerry Schwinghammer
Rezoning from R1 to R2

The following parcels are zoned R2 and isolated from other R2
uni ts in the midst of R1 neighborhoods. Al though not exactly
like the zoning request before the Council on Parker street,
these examples illustrate the past policy of converting R1 to R2
in the city of Roseville. (See Map)

1. 2343-2347 Tophill Circle, a single story brick faced
house with two front entrances and a double garage in
the rear -- blends well in the neighborhood.

2. 305 Burke, a single story stucco house near the
cemetary amidst single family homes

3. 597-595 Sandhurst, a two story, side by side duplex
which borders between a single family neighborhood and
multifamily units. This home is more in the
character of single family homes than the apartments
nearby.

4. 2042-2044 Dale, An up down duplex in a single family
neighborhood in good condition.

5.

1090-1092 Shreyer, a two story stucco,
additional two stall unattached garage.
attractive as the proposed parker home,
unsightly by any means.)

6. 1260 County Road B, A converted single family home to
a duplex within a single family neighborhood.

has
(not
but

an
as
not

7. 2180 Haddington Rd., Large, old, 2+ story home which
is well kept and is in better repair than some of the
neighboring single family homes.

8. 2276 Highway 36 West, a one story, cedar shake siding
home with an elderly person seen working in the yard.
this probally allows for some affordability for the
person who would rent out a portion of their home.

9. 1051 Woodhill, an older home, near city hall, which
does not seem to have any deleterious effects on the
neighborhood.

10. 636-634 County Road C., a home with two garage doors
facing the street. This is the home which neighbors
petitioned city council to allow its construction
because it was on ~o small of a lot.
