The City recently passed an ordinance to allow interim use of <br />property. <br /> <br />2. The Roseville Planning Commission, on a 4-3 vote, recommends <br />denial of the interim use permit because the proposed truck <br />facility use would not be allowed in the B-4 zoning district. <br /> <br />3. The City Council continued consideration of this matter <br />until April 22, 1991. <br /> <br />4. city Staff has learned that a developer has reached agreement <br />with the property owner to purchase the property. <br />Preliminary development plans have been discussed with staff <br />for permanent development of the property. <br /> <br />Alternatives: <br /> <br />Approve the interim use permit with conditions to allow <br />applicant to use the site but at the same time control <br />use and bring about some temporary improvement to <br />property. <br /> <br />2. Deny the application based on inconsistency with the B-4 <br />zoning district and the minimal site improvements proposed. <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />the <br />the <br />the <br /> <br />Policy Objectives: <br /> <br />1. To allow temporary use of properties for an interim period <br />until redevelopment occurs. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />1. This application is truly a judgement call and staff <br />recommends its denial. However, if the City Council were to <br />decide to look favorably on the proposal, the following <br />conditions should be attached: <br />
