Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday, March 24, 2014 <br /> Page 29 <br /> Public Works, Environment and Transportation Commission <br /> Etten moved, Willmus seconded, appointment of Brodt-Lenz for a three year term <br /> ending March 31, 2017; to appoint Wozniak for a two year term ending March 31, <br /> 2016; and to appoint Seigler for a one year term ending March 31, 2016 to the to <br /> the PWETC. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus; Etten; McGehee; Laliberte; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> For the remaining three year vacancy on the expanded PWETC, McGehee moved, <br /> Etten seconded, appointment of Cihacek to the PWETC for a three year term end- <br /> ing March 31, 2017. <br /> Councilmember Laliberte noted the extensive knowledge of Candidate Storkamp <br /> to the material, and opined that he would have been a great benefit to the <br /> PWETC. <br /> Councilmember Etten concurred with Councilmember Laliberte's comments, es- <br /> pecially with his broader perspective and expertise in materials (e.g. pipes). <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus; Etten; McGehee; Laliberte; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> Community Engagement Commission <br /> Etten moved, Willmus seconded, with subsequent friendly amendment by <br /> Laliberte, and accepted by the makers of the motion, the appointment for one <br /> year of Becker for a term ending March 31, 2015 (concurrent with the HRC); ap- <br /> pointment of Grefenberg to a one year term ; appointment respectively of Mueller <br /> and Miller to two year terms ending March 31, 2016; and appointment of <br /> Gardella, Manke and Ramundt respectively to three year terms ending March 31, <br /> 2017 on the CEC Commission; amended to appoint Gardella to a two year term <br /> and appoint Mueller to a three year term. <br /> Councilmember Laliberte opined that Gardella offered huge expertise in this area <br /> and would like to see the motion amended to increase her term to two years. <br /> Since she differs in her policy beliefs, Councilmember McGehee advised that she <br /> would abstain from the motion; as she preferred a broader motion; and her listing <br /> of people was made for the purpose of seeking names from a broader community <br /> base of residents that had not come forward on a regular basis, yet fully engaged <br /> in the community. <br />
