The Slater's have requested City approva of a PUD to make <br />the marina use legal and conforming use on both parcels. <br /> <br /> <br />2. The Planning Commission, on a 4-2 vote, recommends approval <br />of rezoning from R-l to PUD and general concept and <br />development stage approval of a planned unit development for <br />the Lake Owasso Marina at 2774 victoria Street with the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />a. That the applicant provide an accurate survey and <br />asbuilt drawing of the entire parcel within 120 days of <br />final approval. <br /> <br />b. That at least three additional over story trees be <br />planted along the northern edge of the property which <br />meets the ci ty' s design standards requirements. The <br />species of trees should be approved by city staff. <br /> <br />c. That no more than 45 boats be stored on the site at any <br />one time. On the north lot, only the gravel area <br />currently used for parking and storage shall be used for <br />boat storage and vehicle parking. <br /> <br />3. On June 24, 1991, the City Council continued consideration of <br />this matter to allow the Slaters to meet with a <br />representative of the owner of the vacant parcel to the north <br />to address their concerns. <br /> <br />4. City staff set up a meeting with both parties in attendance <br />to address the concerns and facilitate an agreement. City <br />staff discussed various screening alternatives with the <br />parties to try to address concerns from the property owner to <br />the north. <br /> <br />5. The Slaters have subsequently proposed to not park any cars <br />closer than 35 feet to the north property line and not to <br />
