Background: 1. The Slater's have requested City approva of a PUD to make the marina use legal and conforming use on both parcels. 2. The Planning Commission, on a 4-2 vote, recommends approval of rezoning from R-l to PUD and general concept and development stage approval of a planned unit development for the Lake Owasso Marina at 2774 victoria Street with the following conditions: a. That the applicant provide an accurate survey and asbuilt drawing of the entire parcel within 120 days of final approval. b. That at least three additional over story trees be planted along the northern edge of the property which meets the ci ty' s design standards requirements. The species of trees should be approved by city staff. c. That no more than 45 boats be stored on the site at any one time. On the north lot, only the gravel area currently used for parking and storage shall be used for boat storage and vehicle parking. 3. On June 24, 1991, the City Council continued consideration of this matter to allow the Slaters to meet with a representative of the owner of the vacant parcel to the north to address their concerns. 4. City staff set up a meeting with both parties in attendance to address the concerns and facilitate an agreement. City staff discussed various screening alternatives with the parties to try to address concerns from the property owner to the north. 5.
