<br />1. Deny the request and allow the marina to operate as a non- <br />conforming use on the southern parcel only and not on the <br />northern parcel. <br /> <br />2 . Approve the planned uni t development to remove the non- <br />conforming status of the marina and allow the use of the <br />northern parcel for boat storage and vehicle parking. <br /> <br />Policy Objectives: <br /> <br />1. To insure that development occurs consistent with the City's <br />comprehensive plan and zoning ordinance. <br /> <br />2. Assist businesses providing necessary services to the <br />community. <br /> <br />3. To protect the shorelines of existing lakes within the <br />community. <br /> <br />4. To insure that development does not adversely affect adjacent <br />properties. <br /> <br />staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />1. It is recommended that the City Council approve Bob and Peggy <br />Slater's request for rezoning from R-l to PUD and general <br />concept and development stage approval of a planned uni t <br />development for the Lake OWasso Marina at 2774 victoria <br />Street with the conditions recommended by the Planning <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Council Action Reauested: <br /> <br />1. Motion to approve Bob and Peggy Slater's request for <br />rezoning from R-l to PUD at 2774 victoria Street. <br /> <br />2. Motion to approve a general concept and development stage POD <br />plan for the Lake OWasso Marina at 2774 victoria street with <br />the conditions recommended by the Planning commission. <br />
