Lake owasso, Case No. 2251

Page 6

In our deliberations about this request we must be careful
to balance the desire to assist the Slater's and the
equally important need to respect and protect the rights
of the adjacent lot owner.

4. SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATION

The Lake Owasso Marina is a Roseville landmark and from
all indications throughout the extensive deliberations on
this matter, has the support of many. A letter of support
has been submitted from several neighbors, except of
course the abutting (and most directly affected)
neighbor.

We recommend approval of the PUD with the following
conditions:

a. The applicants provide an accurate survey of the
entire parcel within 90 days of the final approval.
Note - there is nothing sacred about the 90-day
recommendation, but we do believe a specific time
period needs to be officially part of this approval
and agreement.

b. At least three additional overs tory trees to be
planted along the northern edge of the property. The
size of these materials must meet the city's standard
(2-1/2 inch B&B minimum). The applicant is free to
select the species, but we do recommend that it be
approved by staff.

c. The dedication of the additional 10 feet of r.o.w.
along victoria.
