March 11, 1991

This is the sketch plan which Bob and Peggy Slater from Lake Owasso Marina
are submitting for approval for a P.U.D.. We are applying for a P.U.D. so
that we may be able to continue to use our "extra lot" which was purchased
in 1983 for use by the Marina. This space is a necessity not a luxury.
We use this lot for parking cars in the summer and storing boats in the
winter. We are able to hold about 12 vehicles on the extra lot. Without
this lot we would only have room for 6 vehicles on the original property.
We feel 6 spaces is not enough to operate the business successfully. In
the winter we store our 4 pontoon boats plus 16 other boats in the parking
lot.

This sketch plan proposes to erect a fence between us and our neighbor to
the north. This will create privacy for the future owners of that lot which
is for sale. The board-on-board design will match the other fences on our
property and the vines will make it even more appealing.

We did not plan for a fence for the extra lot along the street because we
do not feel it would provide better screening than the trees and brush that
are currently there. The reason is because about 6 feet from the curb our
property drops down steeply to our parking area. Therefore, the lot is
about 15-20 feet below street level. Unless we built the fence 5 feet from
the curb, we do not see what purpose it would serve.

Our other neighbors are in full support of the way our property is being
used and are concerned about having a view of the lake. Our concern,
beyond having adequate parking, is to keep the place as natural as possible.
That's what gives the Marina its quaint appeal. Customers always tell us
how they suddenly feel like they are "up north" when they come to the Marïna.

Please advise us as to how to proceed and thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

<p~ q 'ï>cb ~

Peggy and Bob Slater
