Dale Street. <br /> <br />Backqround: <br /> <br />1. The City has previously approved a planned unit development <br />for Mr. Brausen which has resulted in the renovation of the <br />existing B-Dale Amoco station and the adj acent commercial <br />building to the north. <br /> <br />2 . Mr. Brausen is now requesting an amendment to that approved <br />planned unit development to allow him to change exterior <br />building materials and to have a sign not in the approved <br />sign band. <br /> <br />3. The Roseville Planning Commission unanimously recommended <br />approval of an amendment to the existing planned unit <br />development at 2164-2180 Dale Street as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the north and east side of the north building be <br />brought into compliance with the city design standards <br />within one year and that the applicant post a <br />performance bond with the City to insure that this <br />occurs. <br /> <br />2. That stucco be allowed on the south building as <br />proposed. <br /> <br />The Commission further recommended that the proposed signage <br />change be denied. <br /> <br />Alternatives: <br /> <br />1. Deny the request based on the finding that the proposal is <br />not consistent with the city's zoning ordinance and would be <br />detrimental to the general health, safety, and welfare. <br /> <br />2 . Approve the amendment to the planned uni t development based <br />on the finding that the proposal would be consistent with the <br />City's zoning ordinance and would not be detrimental to the <br />general health, safety, and welfare. <br />
