ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR 255 East Roselawn, Suite 49, Maplewood, Minnesota 55117612-488-8818 Administrative Headquarters Enterprise Rent-a-Car is an automobile daily rental company, specializing in providing rental cars to people who have been involved in an accident and need a replacement vehicle while theirs is being repaired. Enterprise is the largest rent-a-car company in the country specializing in this type of rental and one of the five largest companies in the country. Enterprise began as a long term lease company in St. Louis, MO in 1957. It added a rent-a-car division in 1962. Enterprise npw has over 1,000 offices coast to coast. Enterprise Rent-a-Car Minnesota (a whol1y owned subsidiary of Enterpria. R.nt-a-Car), began ita operation here in the Twin Cities five years ago. There are currently 10 rental offices and an administrative headquarters. The Enterprise management philosophy is to empower local management with as much decision making responsibility as possible. This gives Enterprise the best of both worlds, the backing of a nationwide corporation and the responsiveness of 10cal management. Enterprise prides itself on strong community involvement. We are members of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, the St. Paul Chamber of Commerce, the Burnsville Chamber of Commerce, the Midway Civic and Commerce Association and the Minnesota Better Business Bureau. Our Vice President General Manager is on the Board of Children's Hospital and is a member of the Executive Round Table, (a St. Paul Chamber of Commerce discussion group) and a member of Minnesota Monthly. Each year Enterprise participates in the Wheels for Meals program which provides food for the Salvation Army. Last year we donated over 3000 pounds of food, the single largest donation of food the Salvation Army received last year. We also donate to numerous other local civic and charitable organizations. The office we would like to locate in Roseville is our " administrative headquarters. The office currently employs 10 people. This includes all local 'ûppet management and clerical , support staff. Activities that this branch would be involved in are daily rental, long term leasing, sale of all used cars and administrative duties. The daily rental location would employ approximately 5 people, would handle an average of 20 - 25 customers per day and would require storage of an average of 5 - 10 cars overnight with a maximum of 25 cars and anyone time.
