A meeting was held by the above-referenced participants at the offices of the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission (MWeC) to discuss the City of Roseville's proposal to construct the John Rose Minnesota Oval. The purpose of the meeting was: · Review of the Project · Evaluation of Potential Project Impacts to the MWCC Interceptor: · short-term impacts(during construction) · long-term impacts · Evaluation of Potential Impacts to the Ice Oval should repairs to the Interceptor be necessary: · short-term impacts(duringconstruction) · long-term impacts · Status of Easement Documents · Required Agreements and Schedule A summary of each of these issues is discussed below: · Review of the Project. The project was described using a plan view showing the relationship of the Oval, related berming and other facilities to the sanitary interceptor. A profile and sectional view were also presented illustrating the relationship of each of the facilities. · Evaluation of Potential Project Impacts to the MWCe Interceptor. . Short-Term Impacts (during construction) .. The project will include tree relocation, pavement removal, grading and utility work initially, and Oval construction in subsequent phases. Minimal soil correction is anticipated. Because the pipe will be approximately fifteen feet below subgrade and ten to fifteen feet below any utility work minimal impact is anticipated. The MWCC will require the contractor to be held liable for any damage which might occur as a result of the construction activity. · Long-Term Impacts .. The project as currently designed will not impact the sanitary sewer.
