<br />John Rose Minnesota Oval <br />City of Roseville <br />eity Project M-92-23 <br />Summary of Meeting Held August 27, 1992 <br /> <br />Attendees: Ray Payne/MWCC . Ehret/BRW, Inc. <br /> <br />A meeting was held by the above-referenced participants at the offices of the <br />Metropolitan Waste Control Commission (MWeC) to discuss the City of Roseville's <br />proposal to construct the John Rose Minnesota Oval. The purpose of the meeting <br />was: <br /> <br />· Review of the Project <br />· Evaluation of Potential Project Impacts to the MWCC Interceptor: <br />· short-term impacts(during construction) <br />· long-term impacts <br />· Evaluation of Potential Impacts to the Ice Oval should repairs to the <br />Interceptor be necessary: <br />· short-term impacts(duringconstruction) <br />· long-term impacts <br />· Status of Easement Documents <br />· Required Agreements and Schedule <br /> <br />A summary of each of these issues is discussed below: <br /> <br />· Review of the Project. <br /> <br />The project was described using a plan view showing the relationship of <br />the Oval, related berming and other facilities to the sanitary <br />interceptor. A profile and sectional view were also presented <br />illustrating the relationship of each of the facilities. <br /> <br />· Evaluation of Potential Project Impacts to the MWCe Interceptor. <br /> <br />. Short-Term Impacts (during construction) .. The project will include <br />tree relocation, pavement removal, grading and utility work <br />initially, and Oval construction in subsequent phases. Minimal soil <br />correction is anticipated. Because the pipe will be approximately <br />fifteen feet below subgrade and ten to fifteen feet below any <br />utility work minimal impact is anticipated. The MWCC will require <br />the contractor to be held liable for any damage which might occur as <br />a result of the construction activity. <br /> <br />· Long-Term Impacts .. The project as currently designed will not <br />impact the sanitary sewer. <br />
