BACKGROUND <br /> <br />Earlier this year, Beechwood Acquisitions proposed to construct an 18,000 <br />sq. ft. building to be occupied by Computer City. The proposed location <br />was the vacant parcel, directly south of the Crossroads Shopping Center, <br />in the northwest quadrant of Snelling A venue and County Road B-2. The <br />property is zoned SC Shopping Center and regulations in that district <br />require that a special use pennit for site plan approval be approved.
