BACKGROUND Earlier this year, Beechwood Acquisitions proposed to construct an 18,000 sq. ft. building to be occupied by Computer City. The proposed location was the vacant parcel, directly south of the Crossroads Shopping Center, in the northwest quadrant of Snelling A venue and County Road B-2. The property is zoned SC Shopping Center and regulations in that district require that a special use pennit for site plan approval be approved. Development Summary The SC district has a provision requiring site plan review of all developments, This is a cany over of the old ordinance where almost all commercial and industrial projects were required to undergo such a review.
