These
benefits would include: deterring patrons which park in the northeastern
portion of the parking lot trom cutting through tbe parkit1g aisles to reach the
right out access, and physically forcing inbound patro~ who turn right onto
the southern internal loop road lrom the right in-right out access drive to
travel a short distance to the east before turning left ioto one of the parking
aisles. This would eliminnte the possible conflict situation where an inbound
vehide which wants to turn lelt into the first or westemmost parking aisle i$
blocked by queued vehicles at the stop sign, stops to wait lor a gap, and is
either reat-ended or creates a traffic queue back towards the RI/RO access
onto CR B2.

A possible solution to the cut-through trafflc from the northern portion of the
lot would be to physically close off the westemmost three parking aisles ftom
the aouthern internalloop road. Thi$ would consolidate more of the traflic
within the fourth aisle, which will line up with the proposed Computer City
access drive. This would bnprove trailic operations along the sout~m
internal loop t~.

However, if accessibility i$ more important, then the parking aisle closures
should be liInit~. It is expected that only the first or westemmost parking
aisle would need to be dosed in order to provide adequate stackitlg distance
and eliminate the potential inbound conflict situation.

If you have any qJ,lestions of comments conceroit'lg t:hh; matter, plea~ call Jeff
Holstein or me.

JH/ch
Attachments
.,INN
