Page 2
Rick Jopke
May 20, 1993

Using the traffic volumes of 500 vehicle trips per day that were
presented at the Planning Commission meeting by the Beachwood
Companies, it does not appear that the traffic generated by
Computer City will significantly increase the existing traffic
concerns at the intersection of the east/west drive lane and main
entrance of the Crossroads project.

The placement of the exit from Computer City at the easterly end
of the building will reduce the number of left turning movements
directly adjacent to the main entrance into the Crossroads Center.
The engineering staff has not reviewed traffic movements related
to the various optional placements of the building and would need
to review these site plans to make accurate interpretations of
the traffic flow.

In summary, traffic studies have been conducted on the county
Road B-2/Snelling Avenue corridors, and BRW found that there are
not significant problems in these areas at this time. After
engineering review of the proposed site plan with this specific
building location, the proposed one-way alignment best satisfies
the traffic concerns raised by the Planning commission.

If you have any questions, please call me at 221.
