<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly <br />held on the 24th day of May, 1993, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: P. Johnson, Maschka, Cushman, <br />Goedeke, and V. Johnson, and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member P. Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8943 <br /> <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION 8907, CLARIFYING <br />VACATION OF A PORTION OF RICHMOND AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing to determine whether <br />or not said portion of Richmond Avenue in the City of Roseville should <br />be vacated; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, because the portion of Richmond Avenue is unimproved and not <br />necessary for public street purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the public interest to vacate said <br />portion of Richmond Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on March 22, 1993, the City Council passed Resolution 8907 <br />vacating a portion of Richmond Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city Council wishes to amend Resolution 8907 to vacate <br />only a portion of the right-of-way; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City council of the city of <br />Roseville hereby vacates said portion of Richmond Avenue over the <br />property described as follows: <br /> <br />THE SOUTH 298.22 FEET OF THAT PORTION OF RICHMOND AVENUE IN <br />SECTION 2, TOWNSHIP 29, RANGE 23 LYING BETWEEN THE SOUTH LINE <br />OF MILLWOOD AVENUE AND THE NORTH LINE OF COUNTY ROAD C-2. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Member Cushman, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: P. Johnson, Maschka, Cushman, <br />Goedeke, and V. Johnson, and the following voted against the same: <br />None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
