(Chatsworth <br />Avenue) between County Road C-2 and Millwood <br />Street. <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />1. At the May 10, 1993, City Council meeting, the Council <br />considered passing a resolution to amend a previous Council <br />approval concerning the vacation of Richmond Avenue, between <br />County Road C-2 and Millwood Street. The Council continued <br />action on the request and referred the matter for additional <br />discussion at the May 17, 1993 Work Session. <br /> <br />2. Based on Council direction at the May 17, 1993 Work Session, <br />City staff has prepared a revised resolution which would <br />vacate all of the south half of the roadway with the <br />exception of the north 30 feet. This would keep the option <br />open of providing a cul-de-sac street to provide access to <br />the deep lots to the east of the right-of-way in question. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />1. It is recommended that the City Council pass the attached <br />resolution vacating the south half of Richmond Avenue except <br />the north 30 feet between Millwood and County Road C-2. <br /> <br />Council Action Requested: <br /> <br />1. Motion to approve the attached resolution vacating a portion <br />of Richmond Avenue between Millwood Avenue and County Road C- <br />2. <br />
