2.

Second: Correspondingly, there is also concern about the possibility of
this permit being transferred to another individual should Trish Curtiss
sell or rent out the home at 1987 Aldine within the term of the time
limitations on the permit.

If the permit is considered to "run with the land," then a new owner
or even a renter could move into the home and take over this beauty shop
business. Maybe another operator would observe the same restrictions that
Trish Curtiss has agreed to, maybe not. The neighbors would then find
themselves in the undesired positions of watchdogs and whistle blowers.

2. * So it is additionally requested that any permit, now or in
the future, be granted specifically to Patricia Curtiss for
a specific length of time.

Third: Trish Curtiss originally requested approval of "part time" hours,
"(approx.) 15-20 hours" (per week, I assume). Attached is a copy of the
information sheet she distributed at the Planning Commission hearing.
When the Roseville Planning Commission considered her application, VOLUNTARILY
AND WITHOUT A REQUEST the Planning Commission voted to recommend approval
of 30 hours for the operation of the business.

3. * It is therefore also requested that the Roseville City Council
grant approval for this home beauty shop to operate no more than
20 hours per week and that such hours are specifically stated at
the time of your vote.

I believe these requests will meet your requirements of remaining within
the confines of the city ordinance while meeting the major concerns of the
surrounding neighbors and protecting their interests.

It is my opinion that there are sufficient reasonable objections to justify
denial of this permit and that there are sufficient reasonable questions
left unanswered to justify continuation of this application. If you sincerely
believe it is not within your power to deny the permit, then I hope you
will understand why we feel the need for the above specifications and that
you will include them when you vote.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

!:::::::.q:~
