(suggested by Dennis Welsch) Approve a 10 year interim use permit but <br />require all proposed improvements . to be installed immediately to take <br />advantage of the 10 year "interim use" and amoritization schedule. <br /> <br />Policy Obiectives: <br /> <br />1. To insure that development occurs consistent with the city's Comprehensive <br />Land Use Guide Plan and zoning ordinance. <br /> <br />2. To grant an interim use permit where it is demonstrated that the proposed <br />use would not be detrimental to the general health, safety, and welfare of <br />the community. <br /> <br />staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />1. It is recommended that the City Council approve an interim use permit to <br />do body work and painting of vehicles at 1975 Oakcrest Avenue with the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />a. That the interim use permit be for a 10 year period. <br /> <br />b. That improvements to the site and building to reach compliance with <br />the City's design standards, be accomplished according to Dennis <br />Welsch's alternative 3 time table for immediate improvement of the <br />site. <br /> <br />c. That staff approve a landscape plan with the addition of total <br />screening along the south side of the parking lot. <br /> <br />Council Action Requested: <br /> <br />1.
