The attached
information pertains to the removal of underground tanks at the
Lexington School Site in 1991 and 1993.

The enclosed reports indicate that a company known as STS
Consultants Limited provided environmental information pertaining
to the 1991 tank removal. There does not appear to be any
environmental company that gave an opinion pertaining to the
adequacy of the 1993 tank removal. However, there does appear to
be some soil testing reports done with regard to the 1993 tank
removals. Since it is very unlikely that a new independent
environmental report can be obtained regarding these tank removals
or an environmental audit can be done prior to June 30, 1993, it is
my recommendation that if an environmental report is desired by the
City, that STS Consulting be contacted to possibly give such a
report.

Since Rick Jopke has left town for the next couple of days he
has asked me to deliver the enclosed documentation to you. Once
you have had an opportunity to review the enclosed documentation,
please give me a call. We can at that time discuss how the City
would like to proceed on this matter.

Very truly yours,

Q.\1ar&z.c Q. ~cR.&:..

Charles R.
