J <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />At the regular meeting of July 26, 1993, the City Council approved Advance ' I"\~'j <br />Circuits, Inc. request for a variance to the floor area ratio in light industrial rJG <br />. ~ <br />districts at 1633 and 1725 Terrace Drive. This approval was subject to a <br />number of conditions, one of which included a noise reduction plan being <br />developed and approved by City staff after consultation with neighbors and the <br />company. This condition also provided for City Council review of the noise <br />reduction plan within 30 days and subsequent to that, the noise reduction plan ~ <br />be fully implemented prior to the issuance of a certificate of occupancy for the ~.# <br />new structure. David Braslau, the City's sound consultant, has been working on /'" . <br />the noise reduction plan in conjunction with Advance Circuits, Inc. and in ~ .\...r~' ,.~/l'-- <br />consultation with representatives from the residential neighborhood to the north. . /.#....." / <br />That plan has been written and is included for your review and infonnation. This finn has a dust collection mechanism attached to the rear <br />~() ~ (/1 of the building. Monitoring shows that the noise level from this equipment <br />dt ~'f exceeds State standards. Mr. Braslau is preparing suggested mitigating <br />~W' strategies for this location as well.
