To grant variances where it can be demonstrated that <br />practical difficulties exist and that the proposed use would <br />not be detrimental to the general health, safety, and welfare <br />of the community. <br /> <br />staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />1. It is recommended that the City Council approve Rosedale <br />Amoco's request for a 13 foot front yard setback variance for <br />the motor fuel pump island canopy proposed for the site at <br />2441 N. Fairview Avenue subject to the dedication of the <br />appropriate right-of-way on the site. <br /> <br />Council Action Reauested: <br /> <br />1.
