She agreed with Chair Groff that the Commission should talk to them about <br />what training and resources they are providing and how effective this is. <br />Commissioner Singleton suggested having a closed session meeting with the Police Chief <br />because of the active investigation. <br />Youth Commissioner Dao suggested asking the Police Chief what has changed in their training <br />since a set time frame. <br />Ms. Collins suggested a format similar to the one used by the Citizen's Academy Use of Farce <br />Training. <br />193 It was the consensus of the Commission to have Commissioner Singleton and Vice Chair Becker <br />194 meet with the Police Chief and report back to the Commission and also extend an invitation to <br />195 meet with the entire Commission. <br />196 <br />197 • League of Human Rights Commission <br />198 <br />199 Chair Groff stated he had attended the League of Human Rights Commission meeting. They <br />20o asked if Roseville would be willing to host the annual meeting in October. There would be 80- <br />201 100 people and it would include a lunch. It is usually on Saturday and they would cover they <br />202 expenses. <br />203 <br />204 It was the consensus of the Commission to look at availability and pursue hosting the League of <br />205 Human Rights Commission annual meeting in October. <br />206 <br />207 Staff Report <br />208 • Finance Update <br />209 • Other Items <br />210 <br />211 <br />212 <br />213 <br />214 <br />215 <br />216 <br />217 <br />21g <br />219 <br />Ms. Collins provided the HRC with a financial update. <br />Vice Chair Becker stated the expenditures for the parade would need to be finalized at the next <br />meeting. <br />Ms. Collins stated if the weather is hot she would recommend freezies. <br />Future Agenda Items <br />220 Chair Groff reviewed the June agenda items with the Commission including the parade planning, <br />221 the report from Commissioner Bachhuber on the community-reading project and a report <br />222 regarding the meeting with the Roseville Police Chief. <br />223 <br />
