The speaker can handle up <br />to 50 people and more than that he would be available to help since he had attended a previous <br />dialogue. He reviewed what was discussed during the dialogue. There is no charge for this <br />dialogue. <br />Commissioner Thao suggested keeping the number of people less than 50 and building in the <br />future if needed. <br />146 Commissioner Bachhuber suggested letting the community know that this would be a <br />147 communicative dialogue and they would be asked to participate. The event would be advertised through social media and other <br />methods including flyers at different locations in the City, the High School and the Public <br />Library and the Review. <br />Vice Chair Becker suggested allocating funds for refreshments for the dialogue and her <br />recommended $150-$200. Chair Groff suggested keeping the refreshments simple. <br />Vice Chair Becker moved and Commissioner Singleton seconded a motion to hold a Community <br />Dialogue on May 22 titled "Uncovering Five Myths that Support Racism". The motion passed <br />unanimously. <br />Vice Chair Becker moved and Commissioner Bachhuber seconded a motion to budget $150.00 <br />for refreshments for the event. The motion passed unanimously. <br />Selection of Committees for Commission Members <br />• Outreach <br />Chair Groff explained what the Committee does. Vice Chair Becker stated the Committee is <br />made up of three (3) members and makes recommendations to the rest of the Commission. <br />The consensus of the Commission was to appoint Vice Chair Becker, Commissioner Slade and <br />Commissioner Bachhuber to serve on the Outreach Committee with Vice Chair Becker serving <br />as Committee head. <br />• Programming <br />Chair Groff explained what the Committee does. <br />
