Rosewood Estates has acquired the Marina property, r; <br />located directly north of their site. The marina is 1.03 acres in size, bringing (f.J'-.- <br />the total size of the new Rosewood Estates site to 2.95 acres. <br /> <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br /> <br />In 1988, the Roseville City Council approved a request for a comprehensive <br />plan amendment from low density to high density residential, rezoning from <br />R-l to R-3A, and a special use pennit for an alternative residential facility <br />for the elderly. The project is located 2750 N. Victoria Street and consists <br />of 68 senior housing apartments with assisted living services available on <br />site. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />c,c/ <br /> <br />The present building, at Rosewood Estates, is residential in nature. The <br />building consists of 68 senior housing apartments and has pitched roof <br />donners, white siding, and significant landscaping. The interior of the <br />building contains a dining room, beauty shop, green house, activity room, <br />lounges, and other common spaces for residents use. The existing buildings <br />on the marina property consist of a single family dwelling, a duplex, and a <br />marina rental office. <br /> <br />The proposal under consideration is to expand Rosewood Estates by 38 units. <br />This would be accomplished by adding an additional attached "housing pod" <br />
