Should this request for an expansion to the facility be approved, building <br />officials and the City Fire Marshal will need to carefully review the lower <br />level that is being created for life safety, occupancy load, and access issues. <br /> <br />CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />The expansion proposed by Lava Links will help them be more successful and <br />serve their customers better. It will bring added activity to the Crossroads Center <br />that may benefit other businesses in the center. The effects on parking, traffic, and <br />the character of the center are likely' to be minimal. We, therefore, recommend <br />approval of the special use pennit. <br />
