The expansion proposed by Lava Links will help them be more <br />successful and better serve their customers. It will bring <br />added activity to the Crossroads Shopping Center that may <br />benefit other businesses as well. The affects on parking, <br />traffic and the character of the center will be minimal. <br />Therefore, from a land use perspective, staff recommends <br />approval of the amendment to the special use permit for an <br />amusement center at 1655 W. County Road B-2 subject to <br />appropriate conditions regarding security and safety issues <br />referenced in the memo from the Police Chief. <br /> <br />Council Action Requested: <br /> <br />1. Motion to approve Peter Nasvik/Welsh Companies request for an <br />amendment to a special use permit for an amusement center at <br />1655 W.
