From this location, <br />a 1500 foot radius would not cross any residential, school, or <br />park property. <br /> <br />4. We have attached information from Alladin's Castle regarding <br />their proposed use and how it is different from game rooms of <br />the past. This information also describes Alladin's Castle <br />corporate philosophy and management style and talks to where <br />they see the family entertainment industry going in the future. <br />The information also ~peaks to the security program in <br />cooperation with the Roseville Police Department. As Chief <br />Zelinsky indicated at the Work Session, the Department has had <br />the application information for their review, has spoken to the <br />Alladin's Castle management team about the security program, <br />and has had a chance to visit another site to view the <br />operation in action. Based on this review, the Roseville <br />Pol ice Department has indicated they are comfortable with <br />Alladin's method of operation and security plans. <br /> <br />5. The Planning commission, at their regular meeting of November <br />10, 1993, recommended approval of Alladin's castle request for <br />a special use permit for an entertainment center at 1705 W. <br />Highway 36 with the following condition: <br /> <br />a. That the special use permit be limited to the time that a <br />valid game room license is in effect. <br /> <br />Alternatives: <br /> <br />1. Deny the application based on the finding that the proposal is <br />not consistent with the city's comprehensive plan and zoning <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />2.
