It is <br />zoned R~3A and B~l and is 5.86 llcres in size. It has been the subject of <br />development proposals both in 1985 and again in 1988, The 1985 proposal, <br />included the daycare center and two structures for senior citizen housing. A <br />9,000 sq. ft. office building was also proposed for the southwest COfl1er of <br />the property. The 1988 proposal was for a development that included a <br />17,000 sq. ft. building for the Minneapolis School of Business and 24 <br />townhouse units. The current B-1 zoning classification was the result of this <br />application and was meant to accommodate the school site development. <br />With the exception of the Kinderberry Daycare facility, none of the approved <br />developments have moved fOIWard. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission conducted a sketch plan review of the Good <br />Value Homes project in July, 1993.
