<br />~ <br /> <br />7. The Planning Commission, at their December 9, 1993 meeting, <br />considered this request. Because of the change in the meeting <br />date of the Planning commission meeting, the motion on this <br />application will be presented at the DeCember 13, 1993 meeting. <br /> <br />staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />1. CSM Corporation is proposing to redevelop an underutilized and <br />environmentally contaminated site in a prominent location in <br />the city's general industrial zoning district. The project, as <br />proposed, is consistent with the city's Comprehensive Land Use <br />Guideplan and the standards and requirements of the general <br />industrial zoning district. The project would create a "front <br />door office park" image along county Road C and add <br />considerably to the city's tax base with the construction of in <br />excess of 150,000 sq. ft. of new office/warehouse facilities. <br />Therefore, staff would recommend concept stage approval of CSM <br />corporation's application for a planned unit development and a <br />preliminary plat in connection with its proposed development on <br />County Road C. <br /> <br />council Action Requested: <br /> <br />1. Motion to approve CSM Corporation's request for PUD Concept <br />Plan Approval and Preliminary Plat, Rezoning from 1-2 to PUD. <br /> <br />2.
