City staff recommends that the City Council accept withdrawal of <br />Rottlund Homes request for rezoning, PUD Concept Plan approval and <br />Comprehensive Plan amendment but credit Rottlund Homes with the <br />application fee for a period of one year. (During that year, Rottlund may <br />retun1 with a different product which better meets the needs of the site <br />and the neighbors. In addition, the Cityls Comprehensive Plan process <br />should be completed). <br /> <br />2. (Note ftom Dennis Welsch) I have discussed the importance of the <br />project with tlle Rottlund staff and invited them to attend a future <br />Council/Planning Commission Work Session on possible types and <br />locations for affordable honsing in Roseville - housing that will help us <br />meet our goal of "housing for all ages and life styles II. You should also <br />know that Rottlund is moving its 14,000 sq. ft. national headquarters and <br />sales center to Rosedale, along County Road C at Long Lake Road. <br /> <br />Council Action Requested: <br /> <br />1. Motion to approve Rottlund Homes' request to withdraw the proposal for <br />PUD Concept Development Plan approval, rezoning from R-1 to PUD, <br />Comprehensive Plan change from Church to High Density Residential at <br />the Corpus Christi Church site at Fairview and W.
