<br />Beltmann North American <br />Scope of Work <br />December 16, 1993 <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />FIRE PROTECTION <br />Includes design and install a wet pipe automatic fire sprinkler system. System will be designed <br />per NFPA-13 with plans submitted to the City of Roseville and Insurance Services Office for <br />their review. The following is a breakdown of the areas involved: <br /> <br />Warehouse Area: 109,900 s.f. - 29'-0" max. storage height - roof sprinklers. System designed <br />for NEP A 231 Class III product. <br />Office Area: 14,000 sq. ft. - Pendent heads in finished ceilings. <br />Above Office Area: 14,000 sq.ft. - roof Sprinklers. <br />There will be three 40,000 sf systems with water supply provided at middle of north building <br />wall. Systems provided with a separate fourth system for the in-rack sprinkler protection. <br /> <br />FIRE EXTINGUISHERS <br />Includes allowance for 10 lb. fire extinguishers. <br /> <br />HVAC <br />Office Area - 14.000 sQ..ft. <br />(4) Carrier, or equal, roofmounted, electric cooling, gas fired heating HV AC units. Each <br />unit to be complete with one piece steel roof curb, thennostat and subbase, and manual <br />fresh air damper. The four units to provide individual zone control for the south exterior, <br />east exterior, and two zones for the balance of the interior space. The four units have a <br />combined capacity of 36 1/2 tons of cooling. <br />(4) Sets galvanized steel supply and partial return air ductwork. <br />(1) Set 1" internal insulation for portions of supply and return duct for sound attenuation <br />purposes. <br />(50) Supply diffusers and registers. <br />(1) Set of galvanized steel tap collars and associated flexible ductwork for final connection of <br />supply diffusers to supply air trunks. <br />(1) Set of poly cube return air grilles. The intention is that the ceiling plenums will be <br />utilized as a return air plenum. <br />(4) Sets electric controls and electric control wiring. <br />(1) Set gas piping complete to each of four units from adequate gas service located on the <br />proposed building wall. <br />(2) Exhaust systems to provide for exhaust from the office restrooms and the warehouse <br />restroom areas. <br />
