<br />Staff Recommendations: <br /> <br />1. Staff has reviewed this request and has found that given the development in this <br />area that includes the Buddhist Temple and residential housing along Minnesota <br />Avenue, that a need for a north/south connecting street between Lovell Avenue <br />and Minnesota Avenue no longer exists and therefore, agree that the easement can <br />be vacated in favor of the adjacent property owners. The parcel of land west of <br />the Westby residence is large enough to be divided into two developable parcels <br />without creating the need for a variance. Given the City's desire to create <br />additional lots in the community, staff would also recommend approval of the lot <br />division. <br /> <br />Council Action Reauested: <br /> <br />1.
