<br />'. <br /> <br />Site Use - Roseville HHW Collection Site: 1998 - 2000 <br /> <br />Year 1998 1999 2000 <br />Operating Days 16 16 8 <br />Participants 1,795 1,619 682 <br />Average per day 112 101 85 <br /> <br />Although the marked usage reduction in 2000 is generally attributed to the new Bay West <br />site in St. Paul, Ramsey County is currently reviewing their promotional activities to <br />determine how to best encourage more residents to use the Roseville HHW program. <br /> <br />2.2 The only change in operations or uses at the Roseville seasonal collection site was the <br />change in contract operations from Superior Special Services to Bay West. Bay West <br />operates the Roseville HHW site in accordance with the same procedures and guidelines <br />used historically. <br /> <br />3.0 STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />3.1 The staff recommends acceptance, by the City Council, of the 1999/2000 Ramsey County <br />Combined Annual Report on the Seasonal Household Hazardous Waste Collection Site at <br />Kent Street/Larpenteur Avenue in Roseville as being consistent with the five-year interim <br />use permit. <br /> <br />4.0 SUGGESTED PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION <br /> <br />4.1 By motion, accept the 1999/2000 Combined Annual Report, from Ramsey County, on the <br />Seasonal Household Hazardous Waste Collection Site at Kent Street/Larpenteur Avenue <br />as being consistent with the City's five-year interim use permit issued in June of 1996. <br /> <br />Attachments: Letter, Joe Wozniak, Ramsey County, dated 8.14.00 <br />1999/2000 Annual Report ofHHW Collection Site Activities <br />Initial IUP documents <br /> <br />Prepared by: Dennis P.
