<br />the citizens ofRoseville and the County at large. Given the need for this type of <br />service and the County's excellent track record in operation during the last year, <br />staff recommends approval of the extension of the interim use pennit for five years <br />with the modifications proposed by the County. <br /> <br />Planning Commission Recommendation: <br /> <br />1. The Planning Commission, at their June 8, 1994 meeting, unanimously <br />recommended approval of this matter with the following conditions: <br /> <br />(a) The interim use permit be extended for t\\,'o years with Ramsey <br />County reporting to the City on usage, spills, and operations within <br />the two-year period. <br /> <br />(b) "Grab" sampling shall be done outside the concrete area. <br /> <br />(c) There shall be no paint exchange. <br /> <br />(d) If changes occur in the operator, operations or uses, they must be <br />reviewed and approved by the City. <br /> <br />(e) The site must be maintained during the entire year, and the existing <br />interim use permit conditions, which have not been amended, still <br />apply. <br /> <br />(t) The signage is hereby approved subject to staff approval with <br />notations of a hot-line for citizen call-ins when something unusual <br />occurs. <br /> <br />Council Action Requested: <br /> <br />1. Motion to approve Ramsey County Household Hazardous Waste Disposal's <br />request for an extension of their existing interim use pennit at Kent Street, north of <br />Larpenteur Avenue, and east of Dale Street with the following conditions: <br /> <br />(a) The interim use pennit be extended for two years with Ramsey County <br />reporting to the City on usage, spills, and operations within the two-year <br />period. <br /> <br />(b) "Grab" sampling be done outside the concrete area. <br />
