The design and dimensions of the facility are also key to quality <br />acoustics in the church. By centering the addition in the middle of the church <br />property, the designer has tried to minimize the impact of the addition on the <br />surrounding neighborhood. <br /> <br />4. At the October 12, 1994 meeting, the Planning Commission recommended <br />that the request for a height variance by Roseville Lutheran Church be <br />continued to the November 9, 1994 meeting to allow the applicant to bring <br />forth additional information on alternatives and reasons why the <br />alternatives were rejected; and to have reasons why the shape of the <br />church is the only acoustical solution. Applicant should also bring forth <br />an elevation illustrating the southeast elevation of the site with spruce <br />trees as seen from Roselawn. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />1. Staff recommends that this item be continued to the November 29, 1994 City <br />Council meeting to allow time for the Planning Commission to complete their <br />continued public hearing. <br /> <br />Council Action Requested: <br /> <br />I .
